Recycling of these items takes place for free and MaxBack pays for any item that still works. The US Postal Service has also expanded the program to provide more customers with this opportunity to protect the planet. Also, it is one way by which money can be put back into the pockets of the consumers.

Electronic items, which aren’t worth any money, can still be sent to the recycling firm. The item can be sent using the free mail-back envelopes provided by the Postal Service of the United States at any of the locations where the program is offered. Environmental Reclamation Services, which is a reverse logistics, zero landfill firm, recycles or remanufactures the unusable or damaged electronic items. By doing so, the firm is ensuring that none of the e-waste goes to landfills.
