eCycling USA and Green Energy Renewable Solutions go in for Joint Agreement

Eco friendly appointmentGreen Energy Renewable Solutions Inc. has entered into a joint venture with another US company called eCycling. The joint venture was announced recently in order to include white-ware and electronic waste disposal for an eco-friendly environment. Green Energy Renewable Solutions plans to expand its Demolition and Construction Debris deconstruction plans to include these waste disposal methods.

eCycling USA will be partnered with Adelman Umwelt GmbH, which is a German company that develops proprietary systems, in order to implement these waste disposal and deconstruction methods. The partnership will be handling over hundred electronic waste demanufacturing and materials reclamation locations across the Unite States of America. At the moment, Adelman has similar plans in progress throughout Europe.

Reports regarding worldwide e-waste recovery

According to eCycling USA sources, the worldwide revenue that was gotten from electron waste recovery was reported to be over $8.5 billion in the year 2009. The revenues are expected to grow to over $13 billion by the year 2014. Presently, over 3 million tons of electronic waste is annually generated by the people of the United States of America. Only about twenty percent of this waste is recycled and the total amount is expected to exceed at least 10 million tons by the year 2017.

EPA supports recycling e-waste and usage of eco-friendly promotional items

The Environmental protection Agency has been doing its bit to encourage the people of the country to adopt green measures by utilizing eco-friendly promotional items, going in for recycling, and reducing the amount of goods consumed. According to a survey done in 2009, which was printed in the Environmental Management Journal, it was stated that over 747 million electronic goods are stocked by households in the US. Today, it might just be more than four times what the EPA had estimated 3 years ago.

According to the EPA sources, it was found that out of 2.25 million tons of cell phones, TVs and computer products, only 18 percent were collected for recycling and over 80 percent of the waste was disposed into landfills or sent overseas. Over ninety percent of the exported electronic waste from the United States of America goes to Nigeria, China and India.

The federal government of the US is starting to restrict electronic waste exports and the country’s sate governments are trying their best to limit electron waste in the landfills as well.
