Toyota Currently Offering Eco-Friendly Cars in USA

Clean air‘Go green’ has become the global anthem as countries are going ahead with eco-friendly promotional items and encouraging recycling, in order to reduce the carbon footprint on the planet. Everybody these days want for environmental friendly and fuel efficient vehicles. In response to the increasing levels of consumer demands, Toyota is adding to its line up of eco-friendly vehicles.

The leading car manufacturing company is planning to put in at least 21 new green vehicles to the automotive market of the United States of America and Japan. It is bound to happen within a span of three years, with one electric car being launched later in 2012. Also, the other environmentally friendly vehicle that has been confirmed is a fuel-cell vehicle, which will be launched into the market by the year 2015.

Toyota talks about eQ, similar to its iQ model

On the 9th of October,Toyota said that the company will provide an electric packaged car called the eQ. The new electronic compact is based on the iQ model, which will be launched in the markets of the United States of America and Japan, by December 2012. Though the concept of eco-friendly cars will be gladly welcomed by the automotive industries and the consumers, the cars manufactured will be of a limited number.

Over a hundred cars will be manufactured as part of the eco-friendly fleet, sources from Toyota said. The car that Toyota will call iQ EV will cost a consumer about $45,000 in the United States of America, and will have a limited cruise range of about 62 miles. Sometime this month, the electric adaptation of the SUV RAV4, will go on sale. The car was developed by Toyota and Tesla, which is an electric car manufacturer.

Electric cars may be quickly adopted just as wholesale reusable bags, by consumers

Part of the country’s green movement involves the usage of environmentally friendly cars. Details of the fuel-celled vehicle were not released, which Toyota is manufacturing, and will use hydrogen gas in order to produce electricity.

Similar to other car manufacturers,Toyota is currently gearing up to expand its company’s territory after facing problems in the past few years. It is slowly getting over its financial issues and the northeastern disasters, which disrupted the production of cars. Looking at Toyota’s progress with the green vehicles, other car manufacturing companies are also planning to launch their own fleet of green vehicles.
