Keeping in mind the need to increase the recycling rates with the city, two well-known recycling companies in Chicago have collaborated their activities. These companies are RSI or Recycling Systems Inc. and Lakeshore Waste Services. Both of these companies have joined hands to form a new organization named LSR or Lakeshore Recycling Systems LLC. This collaboration has been funded by a San Francisco based firm, named Tensile Capital Management.
A beneficial deal for both the companies

Lakeshore Waste Services is a well-established organization that is known for conducting diversified waste management services in the Chicago region. This company manages commercial as well as domestic waste, and deals will roll-off collections as well. According to Livingstone Partners, the financial advisors of the two companies in collaboration, Lakeshore Recycling Services has the largest MRF or material recovery facility in the Illinois region.
